Let’s start with a simple Bible verse; For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.  Ephesians 2:8

So what this is saying is that you can work and work and work all day long, but that will only get you so far.  Without God, you won’t be complete, God is the missing piece in most of our lives.

I know that for me personally, I have struggled in the past with this idea that I have to be perfect.  Of course deep down in my mind, I knew that could not be.  Achieving perfection is impossible, God is the only one and will be the only one who is ever perfect.  The definition of perfect is this, 1) having all the required or desirable elements, qualities, or characteristics, 2) absolute; complete.  Having this knowledge that God is perfect, that God is everything that we need…then why would you not want to put everything you have and more into Him?  Proverbs says, trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your path.  For me, it sounds loud and clear that if you go at this by yourself, you will fail, but if you believe and put your faith in Him than He will lead you and guide you through all of your journeys.

Personally, I have grown a lot and come to look at myself in a better since, but when I was younger what came to my mind very often was, how can God possibly use me?  Most people I believe think that way, but believe it or not, God works in mysterious ways.  Jeremiah 33:3 says, call to Me and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.  So why don’t we stop questioning God and trust in Him; 1 Corinthians says, but God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.

So let God be that guiding light in your life, let Him shine though you, and be hope and inspiration in someones life today.  God loves you…go share that with the world today.
