So the other day I was very fortunate to have a heart to heart conversation with someone. To me its always really nice to have someone in your life that you feel close enough with that you can express feelings and emotions with. One thing that was brought up was, what is important? In life people have different things or maybe even different degrees of importance, but what truly is the most important.
Matthew 22:36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the law?”
Matthew 22:37 Jesus replied, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.”
Matthew 22:38 This is the first and greatest commandment.
Matthew 22:39 And the second is like it, “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
In this passage, God is being pretty clear on what the law, His law, is saying. Love God, love your neighbor…short and simple and this is what God wants. God doesn’t want us confused or turned around by His word, He paints a clear picture for us and all we have to do is listen and follow Him.
When times get hard always turn to God, because God will always be enough. But when it may be hard to see God or just talk to God find a family member or friend and let them know how you are feeling and hopefully through them you can see God again. If you are a follower of Jesus Christ let the people around you know it, no matter where you are God should always be shining through you.
Be there for someone today.
