I’m finally back, I apologize that it has been a good two months or so since I have written.  I can use the excuse that I have been too busy with school or work, but the truth is my priorities haven’t been in line.  That is the number one problem with most people and “not having enough time,” we find other things that are more important and take care of that before something, or someone, that may be more important.

A few weeks back, my wife and I, decided that we work too much.  Now I’m being boastful, but it came to the point when we didn’t have time for each other, but most importantly we didn’t have enough time for God.  For reading His word and having our alone time.  Not going to church (which we can both say with a very very happy heart that we have found a great church home) and we look forward to going every single week.  The thoughts that came to my mind if we cut back at work were, “will we have enough money for our budget?”  “What about school next semester, how will we pay for it?”  Now when I read those as I type, what are those, to me those are excuses.  Those are justifications for why we can get out of doing what we know we need to do.

So again, looking at the title, are you giving God everything?  Now when we give God everything, I believe that He will be there for us and He will never leave us nor forsake us.  Isaiah 41:13 For I hold you by your right hand–I, the Lord your God.  And I say to you, “Don’t be afraid.  I am here to help you.”  Philippians 4:19 And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.  

I am finally learning to breathe easy, not only knowing, but believing in my heart that my God is truly with me wherever I go and that He will never leave me.  If you believe that, and I mean truly believe that, it will give you a peace that no amount of money will ever give you.  Put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ and He will forever change you.
